Grab your shotguns! It's chaos in Canada! Every man for himself.

Granted it pretty much is just a procedure since the vote has to be confirmed by the comittie and then voten on again to be a non confidence vote.

Notice how that slimeball Harper says "Will Of THe House", not the "Will" of the people. I feel as if he will do anything to take power, even a minority government.

Well the MP's are supposed to represent the people...which they really don't, otherwise if they did most MP would probably vote keep the govt in power because most don't want an election.

Anyway, I really doubt the conservatives would win an election. I still think the liberals would squeak one out.

recent polls show Canadians do not wish to go back to the polls, Harper purposely mentions the house because he knows a Liberal MP, would scorn him with tghe poll results.

"Liberal" in Canada is not the same as in the States

Left-Wing: New Democratic Party (this is kind of the same as Liberal in the States)
Middle: Liberal Party
Right-Wing: Conservative Party

The Liberals can't really do anything because there is a minority in the house. Thus, if the conservatives and bloc get together, they outnumber the liberals and ndp. So really, the liberals can't do much.

Liberals (the party) in Canada, and democrats in US are different. I'd say the democrats in the states are like our conservatives in canada. Our liberals are left of your democrats.

However, as Zoner said, if you were left wing, you'd vote nader in the states, and ndp in canada.

I can understand why Americans would rathe rhave bush over Kerry...but I can't see why anyone would want a Bush over a Clinton.

I think canadian liberals kill the conservative party here, but neither are the best.

Budget vote May 19.

The liberals have called this a con fidence vote, so if the budget fails, then an election will be called,
