Default Mixed Maps Mod - 08-12-2002, 11:56 AM

I recently added this mod to the server I am running but I have had a few problems and hope someone here can help.

1) The TDM maps work fine but on the obj maps when the objective is completed it will not always start a new round. Sometimes it will just sit there until the time limit runs out.

2) After the first round everyone gets kicked into spec mode and has to rejoin a team.

I only tested this on the std maps (the Bridge and V2). I tried placeing two obj maps together in the rotation with no success. I also set the game type to both 2 and 4 without any results.

Please help me with this as I do not want to have two seperate cfg files.

I can send a copy of the cfg file if it helps.

Thanks in advance,
Grim

Don't know about #1, but this one is due to running DM/Obj mixed, it's a bug in the engine.

Thanks guys. I had sent an e-mail to CK to see if he could help.

Do you think it would make a difference if I used just custom maps instead of the std ones?

Ive just installed the Mix Map mods and was wondering if anyone has found a way to stop it from moving all the players to spec mode after the first round?? Its kinda annoying lol

Is there something i can add to it? or is there a work around?!?
or is CrowKing making another mod for it?!?

Thanks people

I have it running on the DaDs server but dont use a mod ,just change the CFG to
gametype 4 and make sure OBJ map loads 1st.

its that easy and works :)

that will call the maps up but only allow them to be played Round Based without re-spawn... with this mod you can play the DM maps as DM including the re-spawn, so if you wanted you could have a 20 min DM on Snowy park or Remagen

I take it from the nil response no body knows a work around or how to stop this mod from putting people into spectate mode?!

I tried running the RB maps as Obj. but it messes up all the spawn locations......

I suppose we will just have to put up with it until somebody works out a way around it... lol
