Default -BF 1942- Looking for something to download? - 08-20-2002, 05:12 PM

If your at all interested, download my Battlefield 1942 trailer. I made it last week. It's got all sorts of ingame footage. It's compiled from stuff found on the internet, so don't expect to see "exclusive, never before seen..." But I think it turned out pretty good. I had to replace all the sound effects with sound from other games (mainly MoH) cause I didn't have access to BF 1942's sound effects.

Anyway, enough rambling. Download my trailer [url=http://www.bf1942online.com/en/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=26:01905]Here[/url:01905]

Let me know what you think.

I've always liked Quickime. I made this movie in After Effects and Adobe and Qicktime always seem to work for me better. Personal preference I guess.

If you have Quicktime installed in your computer (qicktime 6 is out now at apple.com) then try to open it with Internet Explorer. It's worth a shot.

yep, it kinda worked like that. opened it with explorer, it asked me to download it from my hard drive (?) i did then i had to unzip it. weird, it all worked fine.
biggrin: thats a cool movie man, impressive indeed. i wish i could make movies in-game, what programs are needed, is it difficult?

There are lots of ways to do it. I'm a video/audio editor by trade so I have access to lots of different professional equipment and programs. I made this one with Adobe After Effects 5.0 and Photoshop 7.0. There's a little bit of Pro Tools in there as well. You could use Microsoft Movie Maker if you wanted to. I've never tried it but I'm sure you could make it work.
