Windows XP Home 2001 sound driver? -

Well... I haven't had sound... For nearly a year. (How could I have lived?) I first lost it when I reformatted for the first time. After I installed Windows, I realized I didn't have any sound. Too lazy to fix it. But lately I've been getting back into games I used to play WITH sound. The sound driver is suppose to come on the OS cd, right? Well, it didn't. (FFS!) I've been looking for this fucking driver for nearly a month, and I have YET to come across it. Oh, and everything in the computer is stock, except for teh vide0 card.

With the $7 I'm making working at a local [old school] diner working 10-20 hours a week? I don't got $245346 to buy a new computer at the moment, sorry. oOo:
A 'stock' computer doesn't mean shit. I need to know what kind of sound card you have, or if you have onboard sound, what kind of motherboard you have.
