I just read another blurb on the book. Its just a mockery of what woman have fought for. His views are based solely on the middle-middle class and above. What should he tell a single mom that lives in projects? She wants to be socially accepted? ...my ass. What about a family that was recently nationalized? They came here for the opportunity to have the freedom to work. They did not have the priveledges that us take for granted.

It takes a family, is an obvious poke at woman because it is taken from the mouth of Hillary Clinton. She has said many times during her term "It takes a village to raise a child." I THINK SHE WOULD KNOW SHE IS A WOMAN. Santorum doesn't know what he talking about because he does not have the proper 'equipment'. All his supporters have already raised there children or are male. I know many expectant or recent mothers would love to have the oppurtunity to stay at home, but they can't. For social reason ... no ... its the fact that people have driven the economy to the point where we can't get by without 2 incomes.
