Before I go in, I Ctrl+Alt+Delete and shut down all the uneeded stuff. I can get it to about 15 which helps alot. Then I boot it up and change settings. Just don't forget to press APPLY. Delete the configs. Just do like they said if no luck, you're gonna have to reinstall.
