my MOHAA movie idea

I am sure that the idea of a MOHAA motion picture has been thrown around these forums before but I actually have a concrete idea, so here goes:

*note this is a very rough idea*

The movie starts "in the thick of it" like a James Bond film.
Mike Powell is making good his escape from Trondheim, blowing away krauts like Clint Eastwood in "Where Eagles Dare".
He gets to the train with, let's say a nice shoulder wound (explains why he didn't participate in Sicily and Italy).

Next scene Powell is staring at Grillo's dogtags, screen fades out, several scenes from Algiers operation and teh death of Grillo are presented in "flashback format".

Maybe a scene where Powell visits Grillo's family in England (aka the boring talking part biggrin: )

Movie does not cover Omaha beach (there are too many movies about that already: SPR, The Longest Day, The Big Red One)
instead Omaha is a series of rushed battle scenes blurred together (like the part in Battleground after the platoon gets the airdrop)

Main part of the movie is the Day of the Tiger operation, beginning with the rescue of the allied pilot.
once the pilot is rescued Manon tells Powell that he (with a couple of Maquis) is supposed to do his sabotage, while Henri and another Maquis escort the pilot and an SAS man back to allied lines. At this point Manon tells everyone to leave and talks to Powell and the pilot in private (we don't know what she tells them either).

At the end of the sabotage operation Powell discovers that Henri's truck was captured at the train yard, during the rescue two Maquis are killed. Powell has no choice but to draft the pilot and the SAS man to help with the Manor raid. During the raid they get ambushed and barely fight their way out. During the ambush the SAS man is mysteriously away and finds teh group later. Powell put 2 and 2 together and finds out that the SAS man is a kraut spy, promptly shoots him with silenced pistol. That's what Manon was talking with him and the pilot about, Intelligence leaked info that the pilot was really a staff officer with important documents, he was the bait. (at escape pilot tells Manon and Powell a few colorful words about how he feels about being bait and not being informed evil: )

The tank mission is basically a lot like the game except a lot more fast paced (with a lot more language biggrin: ) Cameo by everyone's favorite tank commander: Oddball.

It was ok except for the fact that a main character would never shoot the kraut spy. He would be kept along as a comic relief and someone that powell and the other guy could kick around or they might leave him tied up and stranded(kind of like SPR). U have way to many battles going on here. Its all over the place. And personally i dont like seeing a WWII movie about 2-3 guys destroying thousands of german troops. At least in Kelly's heros and movies like that there was at least 8-10 guys. Its a little bit more believeable(kind of like special ops). I like the beginning but the end seemed to get off track. If u want to do alot of action seens, do 2-3 main big ones. One at the beginng, maybe one in the middle, and definitely one at the end. Then maybe have a couple little skirmishes inbetween the big fights.

They wouldn't be destroying thousands of Germans, the part based off Mission 4 would be mostly sneaking around, and killing small groups of Germans (Like in The Guns of Navarone, Force Ten, and Where Eagles Dare)

The mission 5 part would have more men in it so it wouldn't be Powell against the world.

mission 5 = bull shit, actually any level where you were alone (besides the spy ones) we not that good. Snipertown was wayyyy unfair

Who says it has to be Powell? It could be a Nazi Officer, and Powell catches them and kills him or something.
