Game Help -
08-23-2002, 10:31 PM
Hi,
I am fairly new to MOHAA so please excuse this perhaps silly question. I have been playing against the AI with my kids. The problem comes as we finish sublevel two of mission two. When we get the statement that "anew objective has been adde" and are transported if you will to the next sublevel, which should be #3 Sub Mission 3: Escape From Trondheim all I can see is darkness. Ok not just darkness but mostly. I can see my gun, health meter, and compass, but nothing else. I went to the walkthrough section of the "officially useless site" and it should that I should be in a train station. But, like I said, all I get is darkness. I even redid the last level, sublevel 2, thinking that perhaps the file got corrupted somehow. This, however, did not work. Can someone offer any help? I would be very grateful. Thanks,
Shiloh

Have you tried turning up your brightness at all? If you can see your compass, health, etc, this might not be it, but it's worth a shot.

Yes, I can fire all weapons and see their effect with no problem at all.
I have an HP Pavillion computer with a 1ghz processor, 128mb RAM, 30gb hard drive, my OS is Windows ME, my video card is an Intel 82810 graphics controller, my soundcard is a Crystal WDM Audio Codec. I have an Axis game controller too but it will NOT work with MOHAA.
I will try to turn up the brightness a little more although I have already adjusted it some.
Thanks,
Shiloh

If the patch doesn't fix it then I regret to inform you that it is most likely your vid card. My comp. was doing the same thing to me on the Jeep mission. Tried everything and nothing worked til I got my new vid card.
