FPS scenes sound nice and at all... But I think they came out rather gimmicky.

Yeah, a little. Hard to tell. From what I've read, test screeners responded favourably to the FPS scenes and were generally pleasantly surprised by them.

I think i saw the rock going hand to hand with a "zombie" in that vid.
