happened to me, didnt care, just turned the gfx down, and it fixed it self

Nothings wrong with it. Its the same kind of barrier the combine used in HL2. Only perhaps a bit more advanced, and in desert cammo.

Weird I always notice the mountains seem to be melting when I drive by them

That's LOD for you...

Made for the low end PCs but no option to disable for the high end gamers...
