If you look at a car as something you have to piss away money on then i see why you feel the way you do. Most guys cant wait for time they can own thier own ride. It was that way for me. When i finally was able to buy the car i really wanted ( 69 vette) i treated that car like it was made of gold. Its a wonder i didnt rub off the paint with all the wax i put on that thing. I put just about every penny i made in that car.

You say you spent your money on a computer. When i bought the vette i dont have that option. Al gore hadnt invented the internet yet. biggrin:

It was a 69 hard top convertable....take off the hard top and if you get caught in the rain it had a convertable top you could pop up. It was red white and blue, american racing wheels, indy profiles on the back, 4 inch rims on the front. hooker header chrome sidepipes. bored and stroked 350 small block, 4 speed tranny with a compitition clutch.

Pretty badass ride if i do say so my self....it was at the front of several parades in the area. ( wish i still had that car) rolleyes:

I couldnt agree more, i was young and stupid. Now im old regretful. Not to mention it would be worth 10 times what i paid for it.

By the way, this will kill ya. I bought that 69 vette in cherry condition in 1972. A 3 old corvette!!! for $4200.00 from a dealer lot!!!

How times have changed.
