Well extremist religious folks believe in everything the bible states and when others say they don't buy it...they think those people are full of shit and ignorant for not believing something that is right in their minds.

because the bible itself is sexist, violent and righteous in its teachings. the koran, the same thing. people force their religion on others by force, expand into another countries territory because they believed it was their god given right to settle there. all in the name of a good, peace loving deity. then it impresses and enforces some kind of morality decided on by a elite few, in order to retain control over the willing and in almost all cases, those who resist or do not follow their teachings. persecution.
