What would happen?

If or when the USA invades iraq and they use something like nucleur bomb or chemical weapon on us, what do you think would happen next? How would the united states retaliate? Do you think we would counter with nucleur weapons if they used them? or do you think we would still use troops and leave nucleur weapons out of the question? Would an alliance form? maybe britain and canada?

We would nuke em. I dont think we would want to send a massive invasion force into a country where they could all be killed with one weapon.

There is no way the US could ever use nukes against any country. The reprocussions of it would be immense. The whole idea of Nato, UN and the western allies would be compromised. Do you really think that Canada the UK Germany etc. would say oh well when the US nukes Iraq. I think not. There would be global turmoil much worse than american troops losing their lives.

If something like that were to happen it still wouldn't necessarialy bring the western allies together and destroy saddam and his army. Remember, America is somewhat the instigator here. Support for the war would go up after loss of american life yes, but does that mean a full out invasion would be supported? I don't think so.

Leave the "what if's" to your president, and when the time comes he'll make the decision.

But I'd say we would have to screw the pacts we have made if that happened... Maybe not using nukes i guess. But not sending a huge force in either. Maybe just massive bombing campaigns destroying everything important.

Would we use them... No, i dont think so. Bush is to big of a pussy to take the risk, and have to deal with the whinny politicians.
