Simple. Cars have to evolve just like everything else. The old school cars evolved into what newer cars that are more effecient, aerodynamic, and affordable are.
Now before you try to insult me and what not, I am not at all saying that concept is a horrible car. I think it looks alright. I am merely speaking of your comment on why fix something that was never broken.
The Camero was broken. It was old, it looked old, it felt old. They redesigned it to appeal yet again to the 20-40 year old males who want power and masculine looks in a car.
Oh and by the way, I at no time compared cars to civilization, biology, science, or the production of cheese. I merely said cars evolve.[/quote:3be18]
I was saying why fix something if it was never broken specifically towards the look of the car, not the build, engine, etc. The Camaro's look has evolved; but it's still true to it's original. I like the new design, and it does have that masculine look but I feel it's because they've stayed true to the old school Camaro's. Muscle cars embody every aspect of masculinity, and i'm glad to see those stylings making a revival. It's new and revised but we can see it's still the mean machine we fell in love with back in it's earlier days of production. I think were getting into personal preference which isn't really arguable. To each his own...
When evolution is said I immediately think of the progression of civilization. it's a broad term; specially the way it was used just now. If you were to say automobile evolution or something along those lines then I probably wouldn't have mind tripped like that. freak:
