Dropping in to say sup

Whats up guys, its been like 6 months or something since I last posted anything, but I figured Id drop by and say whats up...

Upon the Burning Sands is still chugging along, if anyone still plays UO, and is interested, we just updated, release is coming soon hopefully http://www.fulcrum.hispeed.com/blackwat ... /index.php

Also, I have some new computer questions, Im getting a new one for my bday (finally), and it looks like the presenters went overboard...Nvidia 7800 GTX, Dual Core Athlon 64FX, SLI mobo, the works...From my understanding, the 7800 GTX runs HDR best out of the bunch, but HDR isnt even really in games and wont be for the next few yrs right?

Does anyone else have a dual core, and what is your take on it at the present time and for the future for games?

And does anyone else have the 7800 GTX and CoD2 and how is it?

Shit man dual cores are to rich for my blood lol, ill get one in about 2 years. i got the AMD 64 3500+ and it runs things smoothly. Get like 2 gigs of RAM, as far as vid cards go ask gerv, i knwo ATi has a new card out, the 1800xl or something like that.

There are no dual core FXs...
7800GTX is still the fastest card avalible. The X1800XT is faster, but it's not out and it'll cost far more than a GTX for a while.

HDR is in a lot of games and even more future games.

well yeah cod2 has uo beat gfx wise obviously, but maybe not in gameplay anf depth

the mod is gonna have one of the best unit/class systems of any mod out there

you can choose multiple countries, and each side has a choice between 2 sets of uniforms, each set with variations for different classes

cod2 also has no vehicles in mp, and we are adding new ones

the ppl at iw have been talking about us and gfm, saying we will keep uo alive for a while

im trying to think of some ideas for our next project, now that my comp will be beastly...... cool:
