closest family members i have/had to being famous...........

Great Uncle was a war hero of sorts, was written about in Russian papers, was part of an anti-tank crew, and died in the battle of kursk.(ironically he died defending his home city.)

I also believe one of my distant family members was very high up in the communist party in Russia and actually came over to America in like the 1920's to try to start something up here, probably got shot or something...

Have a relative who is a retired Colonel in the russian army, not really famous but he fought in afganistan i believe.

Oh yea, and im distantly related to Constantine XI Paleologus...i wish.

none famous relatives of mine, but my friend's dad opened for The Doors in 1967 i think. he was the bassist in a band called The Ravens (not to be confused with Rick and the Ravens)
he also "met" Jim Morrison in the bathroom. he said that he was kind of wasted, and walked into the bathroom, Jim was shaving, and he just stared at him blankly, and Jim turned around and asked "You like to watch people shave or something?"

two of my cousins did consulting and did some voiceovers in GTA San Andreas. thats about the only living famous relatives i can think of. my aunt (dads sister) is a millionaire and lives in a mansion in laguna niguel.

yeah they did voices for mexican gangsters in the game, but i havent heard them. they are in the credits on imdb.com though, so i know its legit. they originally had some gay puerto ricans doing the voices, but after the rock star reps met my cousins at some party, they redid alot of it with them because they actually lived in LA in the 90's.
