FORCE MODELS IS NOT A CHEAT
Sure auto kick those that use non-stock skins to ensure that cheating is not going on, but kicking those who choose to play the game as it should be (i.e. in team uniforms and not a mismatch of colours, designs and ensignia) is a crime in itself.
I know that those determined to exploit "force models" can simply edit the skin in the pak file to make it whatever colour they want to avoid this problem, but realistically, how many of the people that play on your server are actually going to do that?
Some people will cheat, no matter what - but you should eductate them that cheating is like masturbation - not in public. Rather than auto-kicking those who are trying to play the game as it should be.

[quote="=[DOA]=BallBuster":85e80]The weapons / nade skins are no advantage at all
The player skins... thats a major problem that will BE CURED
within the next 1-2 weeks (if not sooner)
DogMeat has written a new server sidded mod that will kick
anyone who selects a skin other than the stock skins
and best yet......
Will Auto-Boot those who select "Force Models"
When this happens - you will see players scores go down
and the really skilled players will be evident as nobody
will be able to force the other side to have the
silly brightly colored skins - they are CHEATS
=[DOA]=BallBuster[/quote:85e80]
Well just to quote you again
What is the list of stock player skins, I mean i don't use other ones --although forsome reason I have one or two, I do have some skins, that i am not too sure if they are stock or not.
well anyway.... I guess i will have to figure out the hard way, and I am highly anticapating that Mod, good job Dogmeat.

I missed the point in my original post !!!!!!!!!!!
We can finally get rid of those who cheat by
using bright colored and neon skins
Players wont get booted, the server will just change
the skins for them automatically
"Force Models" will be an option also, I use force models
and will just be using this to get rid of the bright colored skins
so "force models" will be allowed on our server
Sorry for the confusion... my bad

i hope that the mod will be customizable in that you can have it accept some skins and not others. for example, if strik0r wanted to use his japanses infantry skin, then as long as its on the host server as well, then the mod shouldnt kick him and he can use the skin. so maybe if you wanted to use a custom, akin and it is acceptable, then it can be uploaded to the server, like its been happening already.

Shittiest and unfairest idea ever. Think up something else, most players I know use Force Models so they feel they are in a battle against a specific unit, not a mis-matched pile bollocks.

DogMeat has written a new server sided mod that has the
ability (admin option) to Automatically change anyone who
selects a "non-standard" skin (like the bright colored skins)
back to a stock skin - this is awesome !

From what i can tell after going through this post is a general agreement that AA.com shouldnt host the brightly colored skins, be it for a weapon or a player. Good to hear. Glad im not the only one who thinks that.
As for DogMeats "force model fix" i think its not a bad idea though it sounds like its got some people confused. What it sound like to me is that if i were to join a server with Ronald MCdonald forced onto the allies. Then I go and join the axis, that i will see something like the Allied ranger skin forced on all the allied models.
It does defeat the purpose of having cutom skins on your computer to be forced. I for one use Black Hawk Down Ranger skins forced onto the allies, and the standard Wermacht soldier to the axis. Whats the point of me having special skins if i join a server and only see stock? I really hope this mod dosnt become popular on the main servers. Yes there are lamers out there who will use the cheat, but i dont think its so wide spread that we need to exterminate any forced model.
If AA.com, TMT, PMOH, and all other major MOHAA sites all took down skins the community considers cheating tools then it would be a great deal harder to get a hold of these skins. You can put a dent in it that way as well. Rather than getting rid of the point of having differant skins.
Take em down AA.com, Spread the word!
