Well I loaded MOHPA and had one problem. When following the instructions using Disk 1 , game crashes to desktop. At EA finally got the correct dope to use disk 4 for PC game, not disk 1. cuss:

The graphics are fantastic! Love the story happy: . I have lost count on how many times I have died getting to Tarawa level. Times I have finished a sublevel with barely enough life in me at medium level. While playing I had to finally resort to a walk thru. I use it when I get stuck dyin for at least 10 or 12 times. I hate those Nip snipers annoy: , real bad in Canal Luguna swamp.

There are four weapons I have found that I tend to get other than assigned. any SMG, Nip sniper rifle or thier own bolt action rifle, like usin that bayonet at close quarters. Final the M1 Garland. Atleat it has a blade compared to the springfield. That shotgun is also great up close.

Found out those sachel charges have short fuse then the demo type. I had to die atlest 6 0r 7 times before I got the feel for those sachel charges. eek:

I tried the REALISTIC setting, one word, "YIKES!!!!!!" eek:

I can understand using only iron sigtsand no hud compass, but the rest!
No health meter but no reddening of the edges when ya take a hit, no iventory, no amo count, or loaded amo level. That last one I can understand but no amo count. annoy:

Then there is that pesky scripting across the screen in white leters oOo: . Ya ask how far I have gotten, Keep gettin slaughtered at Pearl Harbor Dock! I can manage to rescue three wounded, but using that Tompson to shot down Nip Planes ya got ta be kidding. I can even understand that too. I guess the next time I well just be satisfied getting those three wounded to the medic and beat feet fir that PT Boat.

For my money the game is worth it. I have read a lot of cons about it. Someone claimed at EA board of beating it on the Realistic setting and getting all the medals and Hero Moments. I smell smoke at my six. He just might have using god cheat mode rolleyes: . Heck I only got as far as I did in medium setting using the walk thru. I can only stand so much fustration. wallbash:

Last, I like this FPS, well once a Marine, always a Marine cool: . I would like to see an expansion pack covering , Guam, Sipan, Iwo and Okinawa. Or one about escape from Battan to Corrigadore and then to Austraila.

Great part as a back seat gunner on a Duantles, flight controls not to bad what was missing was a good bomb sight ,dive breaks and forward MG sights. What I did not like was that bird carring a torpedo. Never designed for that role. That was a job for the TBFs. The best flight sim for DB , figher and TBF was in the game Pacific Air War. One thing more, side arms? The only way a Girene got one was stealing one or takin one of the dead. oOo:

I see your inteligent enough to use a CPU and a key board even with the profanity. How about a coversation with an exchange of ideas.

So what about the game don't you like any why? While ya do so please use all the profanity you like. Please make inteligent statements inbetween.

As far as liking the game and think it is great, thats just my opinion or does opinions other than your own threaten you. Otherwise ya remind me of a pest, a fly, steep in manure. I will just have tp accept that. Please excuse my poor spellin. I can see the wheels turn as you read. Step on the breaks you might sound inteligent. happy:

It's called a PC, the CPU is the central processing unit = a microchip. Nyck is no way intelligent enough to use a microchip

PA is a poorly coded POS. absolutely NO ONE plays the mp even like a week after it came out. It would just lag to no end. Its REALLY linear and has nothing different from MOHAA save you are killing japs now instead of krauts.

you spent 30 bucks on it when you could have easily spent 25 bucks this weekend and get COD2.

I never even bought this game, could spend 30-50 bucks on something better than a beer coaster.

I dont see how you can care for INTELLIGENT(not INTELIGENT) conversation and I won't even attempt it with you. You come on here and blow your wadd on games that died 4+ year ago or games that people think are horrible. Its the opinion of EVERYONE on this frickin forum, not just myself.

But yeah the game sucked, I was one of the people that bought the games the first day it came out, I had great hopes for it, but its was uninstalled within the hour. I SOLD it to my dad (who loves mohaa), and he GAVE it back to me).

One diference right of the bat. I DID BUY IT. In your own words:

For what I paid for it it works just fine. no lag what ever. Play on line, I do not need to. I enjoy the game for the atmosphere and experience and challenge. When the price comes down I will get COD2. It is my money and I just honesty state my opinion.

Comparing a horse and buggy to the first automobile. What you see is the wave of the future. Graphics are better, more realistic and better story line. Those Japanese troops are a hell of alot harder to knock off. Lone wolf it and you are dead meat. The Jap AI more inteligent then Jerry in MOHAA. That is at the mediun setting just tryin the realistic. As the settings increases so does the enemy change. Gads of problems just getting off the Pearl Habor Docks. Any COD or MOHAA player will have all kinds of trouble like in real life. Unless they play a COD modded to realism. Ya got no hud, no crosshairs, no amo count or compass. Just you and your weapon and you better know to best use it and know your amo load out.

Life never meets expectations, learn that lesson other wise ya good be a real disapointed dude in life. Such is life. Aleast you bought it, what did you expect for a new game? never believe the hype. All the advertising hype si to wet your apetite for thier eye candy.

Sure it was buggy when it first came out. All games go thru that. Maybe people bought the game and found out they did not have the graphics or PC to support it. Blame the Game companies and computer companies. Those newer games are going to demand more high end PC. So MOHPA and COD2 is just the start. As long as people want the eye candy, they will pay and get better systems. Time and techknowledgy does not stand still.
Ya should have read the min requirments and figured double what was realy needed. More companies are maken games for PS or xbox. Now even the old systems are on the way out. The new standard will be PS3 and XBOX 360.

Heck the VCR is going the way of the old beta track. I had to get a DVD player to watch the newer movies.

What is it sounds like the kiddies are being left behind in the techno race. and in the future no one to play with them thier favorite game on -line. I guess the parents won't put owt the dough. They might have to work for thier new toys like us grown -ups. That is a shocker.

I really liked PA. It was just disappointing that more people didn't play MP. Trying to take the objectives required teamwork and made for a more action packed game than BF2. (IMHO) I never had any lag problems....and ever since the last patch I'm laggin' something fierce with BF2...actually to the point that it's not worth playing.

Glad ta here from ya. Have ya beaten the game at realistic level? Just finished the Canal headed in to Tarawa on the medium level. Sorry I do not do MP. If there was a group that did squad level actions Marine 9 man squad and Japanese 13 man, I might be talked into it.

Yes that team work is what it is about, lone wolf or John wayne it just gets ya KOed real fast.

That realistic level is pure murder. I am stuck at Pearl Harbor Dock. Do to try shooten down Zeros with SMG. Not worth the trouble. Hard enough pickin up 3 wounded sailors and stayin alive. Only Iorn sights and no consol or hud. not even an loaded amo count or amo count of any kind.
