well like what if you literally don't have the internet or something of that nature? You'd have to suffer for Microsofts faults and wasting 400 bucks?

some dont. Their parents or them could have saved up the 300-400 bucks to buy the xbox but cant afford 45 bucks a month for hispeed web and then another 80 bucks to play xboxgay live.

Internet is not a critical part of owning a console. Microsoft are the only company out there that are issuing pc style game patches over xbox live. Now they're actually patching their consoles software.

Plenty of people dont have the net, people that dont have pc's or people that have no interest in it. Not a matter of being able to afford it.

Well I guess you should go for PS3 if you aren't really into the whole console internet thing because Xbox Live and linking it to computers is one of the major portions of the system.

According to ms, i usually get a console solely for the single player experience. Xbox 360 has online play etc but its pretty diluted compared to the pc's online play, cod2 for example on the 360 its a max of 8 players, with the pc its 32 or 64 i forget which.

Im not bashing the console at all, i think its a pretty good platform and i enjoyed the original, just to me online on the 360 seems very basic and is like pc online was about 10 years ago.

I along with 2 of my buddies bought one on launch day, and haven't had one problem with the system. The emulation for the xbox games is still in its early stages, so bugs are expected. This is the case for any emulation software. Halo 2 ran faster for me than it did on the xbox, and seeing it in hi def was a treat, but the game choked when playing it on split screen with 2 other people.

I have Perfect Dark, CoD2, Condemned, and Gun...and they all are pretty good games.

Are the games more expensive now for the 360 or still roughly 50 bucks?
