Default NHL: Blockbuster Trade - 11-30-2005, 09:11 PM

Just announced:

Joe Thornton to the SJ Sharks in exchange for Sturm, Stuart, and Primeau

What a shitty deal for boston lol. Thornton is a franchise player.

I agree.

Seriously though, it makes sense. Boston sucks and should be good. San Jose sucks and should be good. San Jose gets a great power forward in Thornton and the Bruins pick up Sturm and Stuart which are two quality players. I suppose San Jose won the deal, but Thornton wasn't doing what he's supposed to in Boston. At least they don't have to pay him now.

Man, it's like the Bruins have given up. They didn't even get anything for the future (i.e. draft picks). Stupid trade.

They should have shopped Joe around more. They coulda gotten a lot more than Marco-fucking Sturm. annoy:

Wayne Primeau? Jeezus, I can play hockey better than Keith's retarded brother. Brad Stuart used to be good before Dr. Evil stole his mojo. He's as flaccid as a nursing home men's choir.

Welcome to Boston Bruins hockey. Where fans like me can wallow in self pity every year as upper management continues to show us how not to run a sports franchise.
