I hope rioting does happen, just so I can witness it - but then again, it's probably just a bluff. eek:

I doubt it will be anything as intense as the King riot.

I think its good that they didn't pardon him. They say he's all reformed and everything, but he hasn't actually admitted committing the crime. I don't care that he has become anti-gang and all that, he's not in jail for that, he's in jail for murder.

Yup - Plenty more mixed feelings about this one. Guy IS in jail for murdering four people, and it's not a race issue. It's a death-sentence issue. The only reason people are getting wound up is because of the fact that he has supposedly rehabilitated and is trying to stop gang violence from his prison cell. It's a totally debateable issue.

IMO, there shouldn't be an exception made for this guy. If you're going to have a capital punshiment law in effect you can't just drop it due to a bit of celebrity-supported public outcry.

I'd be suprised if there was any rioting at all.

They might not riot because of what he did to the city too. He did start one of the biggest gangs in LA (and the country) so they can't be too happy with the crime caused indirectly by his efforts.
