So i was reading the BoB book the other day, and in the fornotes it said tom hanks went to this huge WW2 parade the biggest since WW2 itself of all vets. Well Hanks and spielberg were watching and when a group of old vet rangers from WW2 walked by hanks jumped out of his seat ran down and shook each of their hands and asked for autographs and pics. The real celebrities became fans

It's only just being shown on Australian TV, and hasnt been released on DVD or VHS yet, so obviously we are taping the series on VHS tapes.... hake:

That... was... the most unbelievable 2 1/2 hours of my TV viewing history... Flawless! Absolutely Flawless!

Christ, For months I've been telling my friends to watch it, they watch the first 1/2 hour and turn it off because it was too slow and "predictable what they were going to say..."

OMGWTF ?!?!? Predictable talk ?!?! I'd read the book 3 times and still had no idea what they were going to say... Christ people shit me.

Hey Wook, you watch it on Channel 9 right ?? Do you have the huge fucking watermark in the corner of your screen ?? Friggin' watermarks... M16:

Plus, I think it was supposed to be shown in 5:1 aspect ratio... But now it's like full screen, so a bit of it's cut off... Grrr... bigzooka:

Yeah, the dickheads changed it from widescreen 5:1 to fullscreen. Made a fucking mess of it too. Trust Australian TV to fuck it up. Apart from that screw up which will all be fixed once I get my hands on the DVD pack, it was awesome. The battle scene at the 88's was pure chaos and constant noise. Outstanding, every bit of it.
