I have a phobia of Needles, always have. watching trainspotting didn't help i guess. Also a coupla years ago this drug woman came in to tell us about drugs and made us watch this disgusting video showing explicit injections and heavy drug use, i felt like i was going to puke or pass out or something. I get really hot and nauseas when it comes to needles, its very psychological.
Heights can fuck me up but im generally alright with them, i jus tend to think about all the 'possibilities' of things goin wrong sometimes.
i hated wasps for about a year after i was stung above my eye but now i couldn't give a shit about em, i kill em whenever poss. eatthis:

Giving me a shot? Nope, not gonna happen. Hope it comes in a pill cause thats not going in my arm. Worst day in the Army was during hold getting 3 shots. 1 in thebicept that wasnt to bad. 1 in the forearm that hurt like a son-of-a-biotch. Then 1 in the ass, that was un pleasant. Then we had our blood drawn and the chick couldnt get my vein. 3 trys later she gets someone else to do it. WORST DAY EVER! Tweeking out just remembering it.
They give u a needle in ur ass when u join the army. That sucks. I gotta shave my ass before i join then.

I dont know the technical term for it, bit i have a fear of man made objects that are in water like dams, sleuch gates, like if i fell in the water i would panic that i would be sucked under and into a turbine or something yes i know they are covered with grils, but it freaks me out. I do however have a strange fasination with dams. Im always going on tours of them, but i would just HATE to fall in water behind the damn, or infront it, or into a salmon ladder.
Canals with the gates, and dock yard gates freak me out the most, mainly because theyre old a dingy and probably malfunction and suck you under.
I think i got all this from the swimming pool when i was a kid, the wave machine was covered with black gratings and used to freak me out being near them, however i am ok about them now because im bigger now.
I also dont mind natural formations though, like waterfalls, river rapids, great fun to canoe in.
I also get stage fright.

So far, I've found two things that absolutely scare me shitless.

1. Bridges. I don't know why, but going on bridges over water makes me nauseous. Funny story: My buddy and I were talking about how I'm deathly afraid of traveling over bridges. He said that his grandfather had something like that, only when he was on a bridge, he'd get a strong desire to jump. Weird eh?
2. Snakes. Ever since I was a little kid, I've been a snake hater. Whenever I see one I scream and run the other way. Yeah its kind of girly, but I just can't stand them.

These are pretty topical, I'm sure I have some other strange fears locked away inside. I'd tell ya if I knew about em.

Well, I don't believe I have any phobias, or if I do, I don't know the names. But, I am afraid of a couple things:

1) Creepy things in my pool (I live on a canal)
2) The rats in my attic

See, there are some times, I love night swimming, my friends and I turn on the light and jump right in, and here comes these stupid Brahminy Blind Snakes, very annoying. Every time I go to swim, I get like two or three of them. They're Asian, but Florida has a problem with them now. Also, I have the rats in my attic, and they go through the ventilation system; I have a vent in my room too, so, I'm always afraid I'll get some disease from them. I'd hate to be afraid of urine... oOo:

BEHOLD ITS EVILNESS!!
who the fuck invented such a nasty thing, Mr.Syringe i hate you

apparently they've been working on alternatives for years and a new one that pushes things into the skin instead of inserting it, is going to replace needles. it applies strong air pressure which doesn't break the skin. no blades, jus air. woohoo happy:

suppose i've got a bit of stage fright too, if i fuck up my lines or whatever.

I would hate for something to use air to shove things into me...like if it messed up id have an air lock in my viens and possibly die.
I dont understand what you mean by using air pressure to push things into the skin without breaking it. how is that possible??
And how are they meant to take blood samples without needles??
and what about when youre old and need to be on a drip??

I have a new found fear of not understanding how this new method of no-needles would work
ahhhhh oOo:
