I don't think a wall is the best idea that would logically fill our problem. I'm not sure what the answer is now, but I don't think a wall is a good idea.

I think you have a right to beef up border security - absolutely.

....But snipers? Maybe a bit too much.... Build a moat and put alligators in it. Or minefields...You don't want human's deciding whether or not to kill other humans over that - It would cause more shit than it would solve....

Minefields, with warnings, would be a deterant I'm sure. If they go and blow themselves up it's their own fault. There is no blame placed on a triggerman/sniper.

I'm mildly amused but not a bit surprised at the chosen title for this thread. I watched the video and heard the guy from the national hurricane center say that he didn't know if the levees would be "topped". I never heard anyone say that the levees would break.

Besides, what was Bush supposed to do 2-3 days before the storm. It seems that Louisiana and New Orleans' democratic (and corrupt) leadership were content to sit on their asses and play it by ear, and yet the focus is put on the guy trying to run the entire country.
