Whats the deal with the Subfight?

swordfight: In the subfight map I don't get what goes on there. There are two places to set the bomb, on like a desk and on a torpedo, then theres the hatch which seems like you can escape from but you can't reach it. Then the goggles thing comes in from the smoke. Then theres some papers that are flashing like I can take them but I can't. I only have played this in with one person, myself, so I think thats the prob. Any thoughts on this?
