The score, "64" is irrelevant.. it's where Jimmy placed in with the other ranks of people that took the test... so he did 64% better then the other people that took the test. Now what it comes down to is his line scores (actual scoring of his test... based on GT, eletrical, mechanical, and so on) will determine what job he will get. Now to further explain to you what I mean when I talk about the two digit score that is irrelevant to job placement and overall judgement of your knowledge... anyone in the military with a GT score of 110 will get pretty much ANY job in the military.. I'm talking any high end eletronics, intelligence and so on. I know a guy who got a 45, YES a 45 and got a GT score of 125 (which is really good, I got a 58 and only got a GT score of 114) it's just a matter of who you take the test with. I took the test when I was 16 and was a Junior in high school.. I took it with a bunch of Seniors and people planning to go to college.
Oh, and you only need a percentage score of 31 to get into either the Corps or the ARMY.
