rome total war, medieval total war, and i also like imperial glory, underrated game if you ask me. Stronghold 2 is also fun, tho not the newest game out there.

tiberian sun, red alert 1, rome total war.
never liked red alert 2 at all, the whole post ww2 1950s feel and colours made it look shit compared to the scifi-ness of the others.

I have the exact opposite take on that. I loved Red Alert 2 and didn't care for Tiberian Sun.

Close Combat is also pretty sick. It's a birds eye view of battles in WWII. I loved that game but I lost my copy.
