Oh please. Playing god? Give me a break. We live in the 21st century, if religious people don't want to be genetically enhanced, thats fine by me, but I should have the right if I want to, as should others.
Oh yea, and as for there being a reason why retards, people with chronic illnesses, people who are blind, etc exist, why don't you go share that reason with the families of the people in question. Im sure they would love to know.
Also, as nature has shown with previous species, if they don't adapt quickly enough, they die out. Nature does not pick a favorite, I would hope somebody as intelligent as you would realize that. Therefore, we cannot rely on nature, to insure our survival. |
