I bought it for about that price. I returned it the next day. I appreciated the concept, and some of the battles are cool, but it all boils down to the same thing over and over, and it's way too damn easy. I beat 12 out of the 16 colossi in 4 hours, and then I took it back the next day.
If you want to experience something different and want a unique movie-like showcase during the battles, then get it. If you're looking for something that has a lot of replay value and will keep you interested for weeks, then don't get it. Of course that is my opinion, but for a game that was rated so high, I was very dissapointed.

Well, I bought MLB 06, and I just finished playing my first game. I lost 7-6, and I blew it in the bottom of the 9th. I hit my first home run at my 3rd at bat, which was probably just pure luck, but then I hit another one. The pitching speed and breaks feel really authentic, probably the best of any baseball game I've played.

Kingdom Hearts is a rather kiddielike, but its got a great storyline, good fightsystems and neat characters and all. A really good RPG, with lots of stuff to do.

I got rid of the guess pitch option and lock in area and kept strikezone and hot zone basically for my own pitching good(which doesnt really help)
Tip: hardly use the power swing. I use primarily the normal X button swing and hit enough HRs. I only use the power swing if I KNOW a fastball is coming(2-0, 3-1 counts)

someone mentioned killzone, but i recommend KillSwitch over it. Its a better game, and it is MGS-like.

MGS 3 IMO, has a great storyline, but the gameplay mechanics feel outdated if youve played a game like pandora tommorrow. Not trying to start a war here, just wat i observed. Still worth getting. I also reccomend getting/renting devil may cry 3 if you are into hardcore action games, know in advance that it is a more hard core action experiene then GOW. You can get both versions relatively cheap, but the special edition has some bonus content, and has lots of options geared towards newbies of the series, to make the game easier. Also, like it or not, the PS2 has a huge selection of RPG's, I know lots of older gamers don't like em, but if you give em a chance you may be surprised. They also tend to have deeper storylines, but its not everyone's cup of tea. i also reccomend the ace combat series, if you like arcadey aircplane shooters.
