Apparently someone at ABC was paying attention when fans created a Web site called IsLostARepeat.com, which provides viewers an independent tool to keep track of when the new episodes air.

In the fall, said ABC, "Lost" will return in its usual Wednesday slot for seven straight episodes. The show will then take a break while ABC gives the spot over to a new Taye Diggs detective drama, "Day Break" (sort of a "Groundhog Day" premise in which the character lives the same bad day again and again), for 13 weeks.

When "Lost" returns early in 2007, it won't miss a week until the third season concludes next May, ABC promises.
