yeah, but it's supposed to have better battery life and I'm worried about getting an iPod from all the stories I've heard of them breaking

Eh, i can see why people are leery to get an iPod. My original 4th gen i pod didnt turn on anymore after a year. But the warranty entitled me to a new video ipod which i will have for near 7 months now.

Except those only come out every 2/3 years, which IS keeping up with technology, whereas the iPod releases multiple versions A YEAR, which is more like extortion.

Also, I have an iPod, and couldnt be happier. I can watch all the Lost and Battlestar galactica I want, and still have plenty of room for all my music.
