"When a small consulting company in Chicago was looking to hire a summer intern this month, the company's president went online to check on a promising candidate who had just graduated from the University of Illinois.
At Facebook, a popular social networking site, the executive found the candidate's Web page with this description of his interests: "smokin' blunts" (cigars hollowed out and stuffed with marijuana), shooting people and obsessive sex, all described in vivid slang."
"I'm a dog chasing cars. I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one. I just *do* things. I'm a wrench in the gears. I *hate* plans." - The Joker http://pressthenyckbutton.blogspot.com/

Thats pretty well known, companies have been known to hire students to dig dirt off people's facebook pages. Administration always is telling us to clean up our facebook before applying for jobs and internships.

imwithstupid:
The cops used facebook to prosecute students after the Ohio State/PSU game where PSU students rushed the field. Kids were taking pictures of themselves on the field and then the cops were using it to bust people.
I read about this last semester on my campus newspaper. Just common sense IMO, you should know better than to have anything stupid on your profile. As a matter of fact, it's actually a good idea to delete your account once you get older and ready to go out into the business world, as just the mere fact that you have a Facebook is childish to some employers and may not reflect well.
