can anyone help with timeing out players are getting booted and then have too restart please help

chances are they're pinging too high... what connection are you trying to run the server on and how many maxclients?

You could try typing this in the console before you restart: reconnect
Usually you'll be connected unless all slots are busy or that the server is password protected. Good luck!

by the way he put this, I'd assumed he was running the server. (he said players are getting booted and have to reconnect.... not "I'm getting timed out errors" or something). although Joe's right... your server should be running 1.11 since that's what most players use. it will prevent many of them from timing out due to version differences.

if you're a CLIENT then typing reconnect might help you. it won't do anything for the server though.
