I can only find links that show your comment to be wrong, can you please show me
where the kidnapped "Israeli soldiers were on the lebanese side of the border."

or is your comment intentionally vague, in a deliberate attempt to fool some of the people some of the time?

They were in Israel and were taken into Lebanon hence why the planes bombed bridges in order to cut them off.

I heard that New Gingrich wants to have a joint session of Congress to discuss on naming "our conflict in the middle east" as officially "World War III". I guess he thinks that if you call it a world war, the american people (and others fighting islamic extremism) would be more persuaded to "be the winners of a world war" and do more of what it takes to win. I don't know when or if this will happen though.

As do I. I don't think it should be called a world war until we're fighting russia, china, and north korea. That'll be some scary stuff then.

your own source calls them cross-border attacks, Aita al-Shaab may be in lebanon,
but as your quote says "across the border FROM aita al-shaab"...nice try tho... rolleyes:

'Israel launched the raids after Hezbollah, the Lebanese political and military organisation,
attacked northern Israel on Wednesday killing eight soldiers and abducting two.'

although I'm sure you can find some anti Israel/conspiracy theory bullshit site that agrees with you.

[quote:10c24]It all started on July 12 when Israel troops were ambushed on Lebanon's side of the border with Israel. [/quote:10c24]

PS, your feelings of disdain towards others with an alternate viewpoint really show.

Perhaps you need to get laid.

So across the border from a Lebanese town would be Israel. Everywhere I've read says it was in Israel as well...

I don't see why it matters where...there was an attack on Israeli troops 8 of which I think were killed and 2 were captured not to mention the previous abduction of an Israeli soldier.
