Excellent idea Ydiss, it would make the game so much more balanced. At least it would stop the 90% Stg44 using Axis teams you get on most servers these days.
Do you honestly expect EA to release the SDK? I mean the games been out for over a year and we still have no sign of it ever appearing.

I would appriciate a mod that would make the MG's as accurate as the SMG's are. And as powerful, too.

Definitely shotgun, apart from the realism which is a valid point and why I play MOH...
Shotguns screw up the gameplay. MOH is no fun with 20+ shotguns running about... Go play UT or Quake with those weapons but not MOH... ( same goes for the rocketeers)

What? I think the MGs are much more accurate than the SMGs. in fact, I have tested the differences between the SMG and MG at different distances and the MG is much more accurate at longer ranges. BTW I think you were JK Joe but just wondering.

No, what I meant was DECREASE the accuracy in the MG's, make them as accurate as the SMG's. This would prevent the long-range sniper effect with MG's, and make it a hella lot harder to kill with the weapons.

I was playing on a server yesterday that was running CPR realism and the SMGs had the same accuracy as the MGs in CKR. A little TOO accurate for my liking, but whattaya gonna do...they didn't mess with my M1 so I was happy.

if they had taken the god damn time to put in a prone system then there wouldn't be so much bitching about MGs

Mmm...prone. . .

Hey man, if it could be done in Half-Life (Day of Defeat Mod), why not MOH? Probably the engine/half-ass SDK won't be able to do it though. hake:

it's doable, if i remember correctly there was originally a prone system but they never finished it. the only thing is there aren't too many maps where it would look good in my opinion

Thank god they didnt have time to include a prone postion. Think of all the additional camping we would have. Sniper heaven.

I totally agree with ydiss. The best fix of all would be to limit the number of a particular weapon, not take a weapon out. The only problem with this might be that people with slower connections might never have the opportunity to choose the weapon they really want to because that particular one is already at its capacity by the time they join. But overall it's still the best way. Way too many times on my server more than half of a team would be running around snowy park with rockets and it was annoying as hell. I don't want to stop anyone from using any weapon completely though. It's in the game, they should be allowed to use it.... just not if everyone else is too biggrin:

The shotgun. I laugh at people when they come into a realism server and run around with a shotty thinking its stock. As for other weapons they dont bother me.
