I flew from Miami to Atlanta last night. All day I was hearing that security lines were going to be huge, etc. So, I cancel an appointment to get to the airport 3 hours early. I walk right up to the ticket counter. Nobody in front of me in line. I go to the security line. There are four people ahead of me.

Then i had to wait forever for the plane to take off. Storms in Atlanta pushed everything back. I was supposed to get home at 8, but didn't land until around 11.

The only problem that I had was with Baggage Claim. I checked my bag, for the first time in years, so that I didn't have to worry about throwing stuff away. When I got to the Claim area there were probably three or four times as many people as usual. So many bags were coming out that the carousel couldn't handle it. Bags were falling off onto the floor. Then some baggage handler guys came out and started stacking the bags between the various carousels ... which made it even harder to get through the crowd.
