$3000 on a birthday present is a LOT to spend on a birthday...$100 at most...and even that is pushing it.
Not when its your son and they need a vehicle. It may be a lot for a birthday, but that isn't very much for a car in good condition. Now die.

Happy Birthday man, and no I wouldnt say hes spoiled, he only got a 99 truck which isnt that much money, and besides they were just giving him his first car, kind of a nice thing to do by the parents.
