I spent a night with the missus and missed all this. what was i thinking!

In my opinion, I'm not really in a position to say wether the US or anyone should go to war or not. I only know what the media has told me, and in my experience, the media is mostly BS. I dont know what weapons Saddam has or hasnt got, I dont know and I dont care. I am not in the military, i am not going to be sent over to iraq to fight, i am not going to join up with the "We are l337" attitude. If things hit home, thats when i'd give a sheet. I can understand that a lot of americans want to take action over sept 11th, and in my opinion Bush will use any war he can to make it look like hes doing something about it, and all the time, tony blair will be sniffing at his crotch to make it look like britian is doing something about terrorism too, and all the time, the media will be portraying it as good vrs evil. Mighty US and UK against the Evil Saddam to gain public backing, then and only then with support of the public, and fewer opposers would they actually venture into a war. Now dont get me wrong, I know saddam is no saint, but when all i read about is "he has nuclear weapons" then "he has nuclear capabilities" meaning he doesnt have nukes but could get them, well duh!, anyone is able to get nuclear weapons with the right money and contacts.
Our governments will never ever let out as much information as they know, and frankly i like it that way. I dont want to know if Saddam is going to nuke our countries. could you imagine the wide spread panic that would result?? people would buy out shops and stock up with supplies and cause more damage to the economy with their demands, and not to mention religous suicides.
Frankly, right now, Im not saying we should ignore the problem, we should continue the fight, but in our own countries. Airport checks, ID cards, crack down on illegal imports and illegal immigrants, money would be better off spent on that than some missiles. As for our armys, or any country for that matter, our soldiers would be of better use fighting forest fires, clearing up earthquake damage, storm damage, being a useful service to not just our nations, but to our public. Wage war in our countries before be go overseas..........but, thats only my opinion.

One thing though, wish the americans here who diss the french should maybe remember they came to your rescue and if it werent for them you would be spelling colour and flavour with the u. And you wouldnt have your famous Statue of Liberty either.

ohh, and on another note, electricity was discovered, not invented.

Meh, i respect the french, you gotta admit they have been through alot, and a young country such as america should know better. BTW, uk combined with the french would be an ideal coalition, since both countries are way more experienced with desert warfare, france does have an army, maybe not a big one, but they can hold their own. IMO america is a nice place, but i don't see myself living in a country like that.

I cant believe so many Americans died to bring this country to it feet only a few generations later is controlled by a corporate administrations with no absolute fucking common sense and can only spell M-O-N-E-Y.

As far as I know, Saudi Arabia's ruling regime should be toppled and democarcy restored there. After that America should use its power to get Israels greedy hands of Paletine and stop the oppression of its people by young ignorant, arrogant soldiers who snipe civilians and shoot defenceless people/reporters.

All I can say is, "Wow".

There's enough energy in this thread to anally electrocute a cow. eek:

The best thing I read in the sea of posts was this:

"Another war in the Middle East will further destabilize the region and fuel anti-American sentiments, supplying terrorist organizations with more recruits."

That's why I think it's a bad idea to scrap it up with Iraq at this time.

Do I think Saddam has to be shaken down? Hell yes I do.
Is this the right thing to do; invade Iraq pre-emptively and risk the lives of many? Meh, maybe not. Would make for some good CNN watchin', though.

If we goto war, that means I goto war. That means I don't play MOH, instead I play Desert Strike. No, I'm not in favor, heh
