Default Bully - 10-18-2006, 07:32 AM

From the makers of Grand Theft Auto, a game about a school bully, it looks pretty cool cool: rock:

I'm actually really looking forward to this game, almost makes me wish I was back at school. Though I must admit it annoys me so forgive me for being a politically correct tit for a moment, but I think it's complete bs that this kid risks getting beaten senseless just kus some girl says so. oOo: Bit sexist, I'd never take a beating just to impress some skanky bish, whens the last time girls ever risked their health for guys? They should have the option to play as a badass schoolgirl too!

Anyways I hear the game has been banned in a few stores over here alreadyas it may promote the bullying of geeks at school, which I can imagine it probably would.

I think the guy who plays Jimmy whatsit the main character is also the guy who did the voice for the main character/soldier from Operation Flashpoint.

BTW I'm sort of acquiring my own version of the game right now biggrin:

I hear everybody in the game remembers what you do to them. If you beat up person x, he will shit his pants if you see him in the bathroom alone again, because he thinks you're going to beat his ass again.

Do they use the same game engine for most of the games they make? Looks about the same as gta. oOo:

I can't wait for the next gta game, i think saints row beat them to the next gen platform by a good bit and most likely gta4 will just incorperate elements like physics and ragdoll which saints row has already done.

Its all in execution, and according to the majority of the reviews, the execution is pretty damned good. Its no different than your average GTA or SCARFACE - its just set in a prep-school, and involves teenagers.

As for SAINTS ROW, as good as folks have said it is, GTA occupies its own niche, its own realm. It MADE the Sand-Box genre. GTA has a style and flow that you cant emulate quite frankly. And thank god for that.

As for what GTA will offer, I'm sure theyll try and cram more craziness into that just as they did with the PS2 games. I think after GTA:SA, people are expecting a stepup into what to expect. Itll still be GTA, just - NEXT GEN.
