No shit. That was one of the stupidest decisions I've ever seen by a punt returner. Not only that, but he fair signaled the punt. You ALWAYS let it go inside the 10.

I think the Capital One Bowl would be retarded not to offer you guys a bowl bid. Arkansas is more than worthy of the biggest non-BCS bowl. If Arkansas was in the Big XII instead of the SEC they probably would have gone undefeated this year.

[quote="Chronic Diarrhea":9bcb1]Honestly Florida's schedule blows Michigan's out of the water. Michigan played 2, maybe 3 good teams this year. Florida played at least 5 good teams, and maybe 6 this season.

Even a team like Tennessee, who is only 9-3 this year, would easily be 11-1 or 10-2 in the Big Ten. They ballfucked Cal, who in turn ballfucked Minnesota, who in turn ballfucked Indiana and beat Iowa and Michigan State. Logic tells you Tennesse would most likely ballfuck 6-8 of the teams in the Big Ten. The only solid teams in the Big Ten are Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin.[/quote:9bcb1]

Although I agree with you that Florida's schedule is much tougher, the "transitive property" of college football is faulty logic.

A rematch is really the last thing I want right now. Florida/OSU would be great.

Had Arkansas been in the Big XII, they most likely would have been in the South division, and thus would have had to beat A&M, Texas, and Oklahoma. I feel like they would have lost to one of those teams.

I know it's faulty logic. The point is with the current BCS system, deciding which team should go is purely based upon some of these same laws. It really makes no sense that there's a possibility that one team could get into the national title game by losing their way in while another team would win their way in. The only real way to know is with a playoff.

Ah, I see now. Yeah, the system is ridiculous...but I really love the bowls.

I love the bowls too, and I used to be anti-playoff, but I'm just sick of going through this shit every year. Not only do you get the "my team is better than yours" bullshit, you also get the "my conference is better than yours" bullshit. While some of those claims may be true, with a playoff system in place, we would actually get to see which team is the best, and whether or not the Rutgers of the world can hold their jocks against the Ohio States and Floridas of the world.

I think you could morph the bowl system and have a playoff. Let the top4 teams duke it out in 2 major bowls and have a championship game. The rest could be assigned to lesser bowls as the system stands now. It's not like there aren't enough bowls to go around and it only adds one game. Just a thought, my system might need to be tweaked , but you get the point. Also take away the extra season game. 14 games ( provided your in a bowl, is too much)

For anybody watching the Hawaii game right now....

Why does it always look like somebody shoved 100 rolls of toilet paper through a wood chopper and sprayed it on their field?

Well, the Capital One Bowl is the highest payout bowl of all the non-BCS bowls (over 5 million). It was also the Citrus Bowl before the corporate dicks chimed in, and it still should be called the Citrus Bowl. As we all know the Citrus Bowl (called the Tangerine Bowl before that) has been around for a long time, and probably one of the oldest non-BCS bowls.

Since Wisconsin didn't get into a BCS (and should have, fucking Boise State is in one ffs), then the Capital One Bowl is the next best thing.

true, but the way we have looked at it is, well, we really shouldnt even be ranked as high as we are. Our schedule turned out to be extremely easy, the only ranked team we played was michigan... Yes it sucks we have the top 2 teams in the country in our conference but thats the way she goes... fact is we are not that good this year.
