campers -

I have a comment about campers that I'm sure I'll get alot of complaints about but here it goes.I don't have any problem with campers as so many others do. That is a part of war. Does anybody think that snipers in real war run around up and down streets shooting? Of course not. I know it's just a game but everyone wants it as realistic as possible, right. I for one don't camp unless I have a sniper rifle but its a great tactic to lay and wait for your enemy to come to you and then cut him in half with a machine gun especially if there is two or more. Let em run past you and then blast away or toss a nade. I'm sure i'll get some flak about this but please respond their might be something I'm unaware of about why players hate campers so much. The only thing I can think of is they hate-em so much is because they just don't like getting killed by someone playing smart and they are running around like a chicken with their head cut off.

I agree with Max, campers don't bother me. I mean, most campers don't kill me. You either see them out of the corner of your eye, or they start shooting you, and you turn and kill them. Most of the good players don't camp, so campers usually are easy to kill.

Only campers I have a problem with are Offensive Campers on OBJ. Nothing worse than some goof sitting in the underground tunnel at the bridge as axis.

In MOH or any type of WWII FPS. Camping is a very good and wise tactics. Like someone mentioned the only time it bugs me is when my team is attacking an obj. and someone from our team is camping on the other side of the map away from our obj.
I don't think you will get many people from this board complaining about your opinion on this topic.

"That is a part of war. ."
"Camping is a very good and wise tactics..."
Yeah, why not make the game so boring we all run out & buy 1942 to try something new.
I don't have a problem with sniping, ambushes etc etc but real camping makes the game about interesting as watching paint dry.
For average players like me camping is a real problem - folks just tend to move on play something else if the game is getting 'camped to death'. Sniping is far too easy in such small game areas anyway.....

I guess this would hold true if we were playing
Quake
So I can not see how a real tactic for playing a tactical shoot is going to hurt MOH.
You can always head over to the main page and download the new anti-camping mod.

Is it really camping unless you are the last person in or an offensive player in objective? I'm sorry Henry, but the last thing I'm worried about when I play is keeping you interested. Hold on let me try...nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....errrrrrg, nope I really couldn't care less.
If someone cared about my enjoyment, there wouldn't be shottie brigades, or scores of jackholes running aroung doing the funky chicken.
I just derive what enjoyment I can from what is available, and when it's not fun, I don't play.
I don't expect people to run about wildly just because I want to play sooner than later. I have to admit that I enjoy watching, (does that make me a voyeur), the more skilled players make use of cover, fields of fire, and good sight angles to make clean kills. I find I learn from them. While running about like an idjit may be entertaining for some, it's not very sound tactically, and it's not very educational. I personally put it in the same category as leaners, it's not right or wrong, it's just stooooopid.
