Geeze, I thought this was a MOHAA site. Half of the new threads coming out are about or have some reference to BF1942. I personally haven't gotten the game yet because I'm still having fun with MOHAA. Just wondering if everyone has moved to the new game or if their still "Old School". That's all I have to say about that........
I'm with you. I wasn't very impressed with bg1942 when the demos were released, and even with all the hype they're getting now I'm still not sure I'll switch. Besides, we're only 2 months (or less) away from Spearhead. Not only that, but I finally broke down and rented a server.
I think you'll find a good deal of people will agree, and those that like 1942 will probably keep playing MOH, just not as often.
Oh, and another thing, don't always believe what you read. heh hake:
I still play MoH often but I have found I play more BF1942. and I finally played DoD for the first time and am hooked but lately I haven't been playing becuase of homework, going out, and I have been fooling around with photoshop 7 tutorials and making styles for it.
I just went to gamespot and it looks AWESOME. Did you see the screen shots. Outstanding. I can't wait either. This should be another barn burner. In the meantime, I'll still be playing MOHAA and not the "other" game.
As long as it sits in Offtopic, who cares? That's what the forum is there for!
And the reason it's talked so much here is pretty damn obvious: EA made both MOH:AA & BF1942, so of coarse, everyones going to argue about the two games!
is it just me or does BF1942 have a ton of glitches -- I can proced on explaing these glitches but i figure someone else knows what i am talking about.
I will admit I have been playing BF42 but still find myself playing MOH. When the new exp comes out it will pick up again. It also does not help that EA has not offered a patch for MOH and some of the newer cheats
Keep the faith. MOH with the help of a strong community will be around for some time.
BF42 is off to a rocky start (Thanks EA ) with the modding community. And everyone knows that's what keeps a MP game going.
