Is it me? -

Yo
So I've been at my job for a few weeks now, but it seems each building site I visit something a bit nuts happens...

I was standing under this ceiling only a few minutes before it collapsed. A labourer was slightly bruised & it almost hit another project manager. They were putting up that steel girder support stuff when it all gave way.
So that was one site, then today I had my first visit to another site, I walked out my office & saw this...

I don't think it's meant to do that eek:

The driver was going up a slope & the whole thing toppled over.

My head looks quite bit, might be a weird angle or maybe I'm a secret smeghead?

We had to dig the bish out & then left her up with chains from the big digga.
I'm loving my job so far though, sure beats that bs number crunching bs at VISA! I wonder if I'm jinxing the sites though? ed:

None at all, I'm one of those graduate trainee type chaps, hoping to get into the project management part of things. Driving the big digger things looks fun though, I could & do watch that stuff all day rock:

None-ya-gadam-business................
£21k thats $42k per annum, but then prices in dear Blighty are ridiculous & average grad salary in London is supposably £23k/$46. My flat rent will be $1100 a month too which is pretty harsh for first time renting oOo:
I didn't think you had a job stat you unemployed, fat-slag! What do ya do?

worksong for Fluffence and crew, putting a piano into a house:
Right Said Fred (Have a Cup of Tea)
Right said Fred, both of us together, one each end and steady as we go
Tried to to shift it, couldn't even lift it, we was getting nowhere
And so, we, had a cup of tea
Right said Fred, give a shout to Charlie, up comes Charlie from the floor below
After straining, heaving and complaining, we was getting nowhere
And so, we, had a cup of tea
Charlie had a think and he thought we ought, to take off all the handles
And the things that hold the candles - but it did no good (well I never thought it would!)
Right said Fred, have to take the feet off, to get them feet off wouldn't take a mo...
Took its feet off, even with the seat off, should have got us somewhere, but no!
So Fred said let's have another cup of tea, and we said "right-oh!"
Right said Fred, have to take the door off, need more space to shift the so-and-so
Had bad twinges, taking off the hinges, and it got us nowhere
And so, we, had a cup of tea
Right said Fred, have to take the wall down, that there wall is gonna have to go
Took the wall down, even with it all down, we was getting nowhere
And so, we, had a cup of tea
Charlie had a think and and he said look Fred, I've got a sort of feeling
If we remove the ceiling, With a rope or two we can drop the blighter through...
Right said Fred, climbing up a ladder, with his crowbar gave a mighty blow
Was he in trouble, half a ton of rubble, landed on the top of his dome
So Charlie and me had another cup of tea
And then we, went home!
