h8ers, sounds were good, at least the M4/ M16 sounds like an M4/M16, yeah it could be louder. But its nonetheless a fun game from what i see. About time its something other than WW2.

I was pretty unimpressed with the gameplay.
Yes, the graphics are nice, it seems action packed but I just feel like I'm being pushed down an alleyway whilst being told what buttons to press.
I liked the character/model movement though, seemed realistic.......
Overall - uninstalled :/

I was entertained. Despite being lead down a predetermined path, I thought the battles were intense, the sounds were amazing, and overall it was a pretty cool experience. I will definitely be getting this game.

Yup exactly, CoD series is usually known for its intense battles. The one battle was hard as shit, just before you got to where you have to get the Javelin and blow up the tanks, when you are pinned in that house, that battle is pretty intense.

Finally got around to get it, and after finishing the demo a couple times, I went ahead and preordered it.

eh, i still think theres lots of room for innovation, atleast Airborne was trying something slightly different.. but taking risks doesn't sell games.. sadly

Cod 4 sorta feels like a cod 2 mod to some extent. Just have to wait and see what the mp offers on pc. COD 2 multi was fucking terrible, was nothing but a grenade spamfest. Then the whole "wolverine" regen health system added to the stupidity. Airborne may have something similar but if you lose a block of health in mp you lose it entirely, it can only regen if it has some colour in the block or you find a healthpack.
In cod 2 if a guy got damaged by a grenade or from a few shots all he had to do was hide for 3-4 seconds and all his health was back, absoloutely no penalty for taking damage as long as you could hide to let it regen.
Anyone using a widescreen monitor try the following console command
seta cg_fov 85
Makes the weapons press against the screen less, really noticible with the sniper scope, plus you obviously get a bit more viewable area.
pics here to compare

Enable the console in the options and when in game hit the key to the left of 1.
Console on\off is in the game options tab.
