All its going to take is a shit team like the Jets, Miami (Miami has defeated the Patriots in five of their last seven visits to South Florida, including a 21-0 shutout last season. In its history, New England has traveled to Miami 14 times during the months of September and October and has won just once.) or the Bills to beat NE by like 3 points (which probably will not happen) but people will call that the biggest defeat of the year. Forget blowing a team out. Personally i think running up the score is bull shit, and so do a lot of other people.

Running up a score isn't bullshit IMO. It's legal for a reason.

No one ever said it wasn't illegal. I'm not denying the fact that the Patriots are a bad team, they are a very good team and i think they will more than likly go all the way if they stay healthy and dont collapse. And with that said Bill Belichick is a great coach...but a total piece of shit, last year when the Colts beat them he hardly walked over to shake Dungy's hand, all he did was look like he was going to cry, and Brady didn't even congratulate Manning immediately following the game on the field.

HOF question: If Terrel Davis gets in, do you think Priest should? IMO, I think he should. Holmes was dominant for 3+ years, just like Davis was. Before LT, there was Priest.

Thats the other person I was thinking of in addition to those other two, but the name just didn't come up. IMO, if Art Monk can't get in, those guys won't.
Which leads to the WR problem. There are about 15 or so receivers in the past 5 years and current that have Top 10 records for NFL receiving (half of which come from the 96 draft like Owens, etc.). Art Monk, for example, has over 10k yards receiving. Isaac Bruce, by comparison, has more yards receiving, yet has never really had a dominant season aside from the Kurt Warner years. This leads to the Vinny Testeverde problem, where if you play for 20 years (as most WR's are currently doing), your going to break records.
Out of all the great WR's of recent years, who do you think will get in, who won't? Examples: Terrell Owens, Jimmy Smith, Randy Moss, Marvin Harrison, Keenan McCardell, Rod Smith, Torry Holt, Joey Galloway, Keyshaun Johnson, Eric Moulds, and Mushin Muhammed (all of which have either already or are about to surpass 10k receiving).

Just had to throw my support for the Pats in this thread. Didn't notice all the MA guys here. I'm originally from RI but moved to FL about 3 years ago (wow it's already been 3 years....).
The only time I get to see a NE game is when they play one of the three teams down here or if I'm on the road in the right part of the country. So far this year has been good, I've seen all of them.
I would much rather see the pats loose say game 7 before going into the colts with some hunger to win.

GODDAMN BRADY!!!
Miami trades Chambers, Green goes down with a concussion, and Ronnie Brown injures his ankle. WOO 1st round pick here we come. Not that it's going to matter because the team is in complete shambles.
And Fuck sakes in 2 of my yahoo leagues, I'm up against Brady. FACK
