Only thing is that one of the plus points with macs is the hardware that comes with it.

And by plus points, I mean generic specs that everyone has so a problem can be easily fixed, meaning happier idiots all over due to them not having unique+customized specs like pc peeps have.
I hate macs, of course at uni thats the only thing they have, thankfully I only use them for the web in emergencies. I've got my beast pc at home for everything else

Its only a matter of time before the 2 come together in some form but I'd most likely stay away, fuckin hate keyboard shortcuts for everything............ APPLE + THIS!

they aren't that bad. I don't like how it stores/saves files to the computer. Windows Explorer just seems to make so much more sense. Besides that, everything else is cool. If the price of a Mac and an equivalent PC were around the same price range, I'd consider buying one. But for the most part, they're way over-priced.

QFT. Ubuntu is supposed to be getting DX10 support in upcoming versions. When that happens, I will seriously consider building my new rig with Ubuntu.
