My friend just sent me his phone bill, he was in the marines and was suppose to get it set up for the internet, before he even got the bill, (he moved off base into his house) and got the bill later, it was like this

There was a story on the news the other day about a guy who got a $40k cell phone bill. Said he was downloading computer software and other things that were not in his contract. They eventually lowered the bill to 3k after he made formal complaints and stuff.

There was a guy here who got an $85,000 cell phone bill about a week ago because he was using it as a modem to download movies.

he's paying $250 a month so that it won't hurt his credit anymore than it has
it went from 750+ to 520 in a matter or weeks, from what he told me

he's taking it to a lawyer, i'll fill you guys in if i hear anything else from it :-D

Once you're an active Marine, all your financial responsibilities should be given a grace period or frozen (Credit Cards, phone bill etc)...
