The Giants D did exactly what they needed to do to win the game. I've thought all season that if any team actually made an attempt to rush Brady, they could beat NE. Look at what happened on NE's 2nd TD: the Giants went into Prevent and gave Brady all the time in the world to march down the field. Brady is a damn good QB, and you can't afford to let up for one play.

Usually when teams blitz NE they just dump it off really quick. That didn't work yesterday for whatever reason.

and the giants still suck. I bet 3 months from now we'll still once again be hearing that Tom Coughlin is on the hot seat and that his players are quitting on him during training camp (as it is every year). No one here can honestly say that the best team won the championship this season. The Giants did not win the superbowl, the patriots lost it.

DyNOsty... Giants played a great game, for how it all worked out I'd say it was one of the best seasons for the entire NFL. A new mind set of the game has been initiated by the patriots, and I predict much better games from all of the teams as they follow the role.

I'm glad the Patriots can take a loss, in my eyes, the way they shaped the game this season is enough, even though I wanted that fucking super bowl..

how the fuck is winning 4 playoff games in a row (granted the super bowl is a road game for both teams) when you were the underdog and everyone was saying you had no chance all playoffs...make them undeserving?

they fucked the bucs, they fucked the cowboys, they ended favres magical season...and they showed that brady is nothing more than slightly above average when he gets pressure on...

The giants D should of been MVP...but Eli Manning did deserve it as he was the best QB of the postseason...no question.

And about the ADS...i don't even think we got to see like even 10 of the american ads...all i saw was about nissans and fucking shows on CTV.

I said it all along...and I was right...about who was going to be in the super bowl...and who would win

FUCK ANYBODY WHO SAYS THEY ARE UNDESERVING...IN MY EYES THEY ARE THE MOST DESERVING BY FAR...the Patriots got beat by a team with more heart then there prima donna asses could ever think of ever having

18 - 1

IM OUT.

side note: I think Jeremy Shockeys days as a giant are numbered. the team actually started playing even better when he went down and Boss has done a great job in his place.

and wtf shockey is chillin up in the box getting his drink on with some sluts rather than being on the sideline...doesnt make sense.

side note 2: Tiki barber says "FUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!"

I don't think you can really classify Brady as only an above average QB. He's broken shit loads of records and will probably set many many more before he retires. He is the smartest playing QB currently in the NFL and can read the field better than any other.

Against every team not named the giants I guess...

Everyone has to at leats agree in th eplayoffs this year...Eli outplayed Brady...in general...Brady usually wipes the floor with him...and hell Brady is supposed to be the msot clutch guy in the NFL...not this year I see.

How the fuck are you able to say he wasn't at all good this year based on one bad performance out of 19? Leading his team to a near flawless season. He threw 50 touchdowns this season with only 8 int and had a QB rating of 117.2 where as Eli had a rating of only 73.9. Regardless of what he may have told everyone he was obviously playing with a bad ankle, he was off his game this time and I'm sure getting fucked up a couple of times due to sacks didn't help him at all.
Fact of the matter is, the 2007 pats are one of, if not the best team to ever play together in the NFL. 1 loss doesn't mean shit besides they didn't get that 19-0 score we all hoped they would. They did however have a flawless normal season, and an amazing post-season. Also if I remember correctly, and I do, They beat the Giants twice this year(8/30, 1/29).
One day you may actually make sense on accident. This isn't that time.

P.S. Spell check will help you seem just a little less ignorant.

Giants one of worst teams to reach Super Bowl
ok they won the super bowl, that doesn't mean that they were the best team this year throughout the season.

I just said Eli was better than Brady in the playoffs this year...

...and you could come back and win every game all year and it doens't mean shit if you play like you don't deserve to be in the nfl in the superbowl.

Brady use to be clutch...but now he choked in the super bowl...he did ok...but man was he sub par though.

Just like in hockey...ottawa owned everyone till they got to the finals and they sucked shit...

every game before the super bowl means shit if you don't win it...

Giants are the best team this year...deal with it.

You've proven it. You are actually retarded.

If you skip all of the Coaching records and go to the actual team stats for the year you will easily be able to see the Giants are in fact the worse of the two teams. Just admit that you are riding the fanboy train and know nothing about either of the teams.
