Its works with loads of em. Some won't take long to update either, all of my addons are compatible already, you may have to double check your cockney-addon tho
Its much faster, smarter, safer than previous versions

Slower, poorer security, no customisations/add-ons.....list is endless. Even the IE8 beta is said to be way behind

ive always used ie, im not one for customising stuff, security is adequate enough (never had any issue with ordering stuff online and credit card info). I also dont get people saying its slower..in what way exactly? I tried firefox once before and to me it seemed similar enough to IE.

I remember Opera... i used that stuff in 2004 and thought the pop-up blocker was the greatest invention ever... until absolutely no website worked with it.

i've been a firefox user for quite a while. In all honesty, I could probably get used to anything as long as I get over that few day "hump" to do the adjustment.
The addons I use are: PicLens, Weather Tracker, FireFTP, and ImageZoom.

Blocksite, DOM Inspector (I have no idea wtf this is now that I see it), Download Statusbar, Greasemonkey, Tabbrowser Preferences, and Download Embedded.

I used firefox for the tabbed browsing - now use IE as it now has tabbed browsing. No need for two browsers to do the same job.

I use it at work. When you minimize FF it makes it an icon in the system tray beside the clock. So it doesn't look like there is a window open.
