Does anyone use the servers from "xgameservers.com" -

We may be looking into getting a new server provider and this one sounds pretty good. Does anyone use them? Good or bad experience? Also if you know of any VERY LOW ping server providers please let me know. Thank you very much.-DaK
Actually yes. OUr server =[DOA]="s uses xgs for there hosting. They just recently moved to a faster network and now the pings are low and the gameplay is fast paced.
We just ordered one of the Xgame server's. Hopefully it will work out. Prior to this we averaged about 80 ping so we'll see how this goes. Thanks for your help-DaK
Mine is from xgameservers. The server runs great except for an occasional ping issue for some people. I personally HATE my new ISP. At least until I get them to change the routers they're going through.
Von, I think you're confusing xgameservers with Xtreme Game Servers (XGS). I thought mine was the same as yours and Rude Dog's until the whole pricing issue starting coming up. Then I started blasting my support guys... damn I felt stupid when they told me what the real deal was. oOo:
Anyway, xgameservers have several locations to go through. Currently they've just added Miami and New York. Mine's in Norfolk, and they claim they just upgraded some routers there so the pings should be a WHOLE lot better. And the pricing beats XGS, that's for sure. I just can't say the pings are quite as good (avg 40 on aa.com's server vs. 80 - 90 on mine, but my ISP's screwed up anyway).
BTW, Rude - xgameservers offers 250 Mb for a website and I'm talking to them now about AEStats. I did a tracert to Miami and found that was my best location given my current ISP issues, but if NY didn't go through Qwest that would kick ass with low pings. Comparable to XGS.
